Clinical pathology is an independent clinic within the Diagnostic Center at Linköping University Hospital, which is a large part of cancer care. In our laboratory, analyses are performed in histology and cytology for diagnostics, which then form the basis for further treatment of the patient. Continuous development and new methods and analyses pave the way for faster and better care. In addition, we offer you a wonderful workplace and great colleagues to work with in a developing field.

Job Description

You will work in a group consisting of healthcare administrators with close collaboration with other professional categories in the organization. The work mainly consists of dictation writing in our journal system Sympathy. This is interspersed with other fixed tasks such as preparation for multidisciplinary conferences, handling referrals, discussing cases for digital remote diagnostics, managing incoming and outgoing mail such as referral responses, consultations, and reviews, phone calls, and registration in quality registers.

There are also a number of other exciting administrative tasks, and there is an opportunity to have your own areas of responsibility. The position will be shaped according to needs, but examples of other relevant tasks include administrative management of our puncture reception.

There is an opportunity to perform certain tasks remotely, one day a week, by agreement when you have become more independent, especially in dictation writing. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity for interesting and fun tasks in a group with good cohesion where we support and encourage each other.

About You

You are a trained healthcare administrator or have equivalent education. Training in medical terminology is a requirement. Very good knowledge of Swedish is necessary. To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important.

For this position, we are looking for someone who is flexible. Being flexible with us means being able to adapt to the current situation. We work closely together, and therefore the position suits you if you enjoy collaboration and are attentive and communicative but can also work independently and in a structured manner.
